“Went here after hearing so much hype about it, and honestly, the place does feel quite premium. I think a big reason behind its popularity is its location — right in central Jaipur, in one of the city’s most posh and upscale areas. The place is spread across the 2nd and 3rd floors. The 2nd floor has the Tapri Café setup, while the 3rd floor is a rooftop restaurant with a beautiful city view. The ambience was nice and decent overall, and the rooftop seating definitely adds to the experience. They also have both indoor and outdoor seating with quite a spacious arrangement. Cleanliness and overall maintenance were impressive too. After checking recommendations online, we ordered Dal Pakwan, one set of Masala Chai (which also comes with complimentary khakra), Tadka Maggi, and Vada Pav. “Tapri Central never disappoints! I’ve been coming here regularly for the past few years and their consistency is remarkable. Although they have four outlets in Jaipur, Tapri "Central" is the best among them. Rest are are also good but not as good as this one !! Every visit feels fresh yet familiar — a perfect blend of great food, beautiful ambience and warm service. I’m attaching photos from my last 3–4 visits, which show how consistently amazing this place performs! “Tapri Central is truly a great place to visit, especially for breakfast. It does get a little crowded in the early morning since many people prefer starting their day here, but the vibe makes it worth it. Located in C-Scheme, right in the heart of Jaipur, it offers a beautiful view of Central Park and is very easily accessible. Now coming to what we ordered: Gehu Singh (4/5) – We were a bit hesitant at first, but the staff insisted it’s a must-try. It turned out to be a flavorful version of gehu khichdi, served beautifully with chopped onions and tomatoes. Both presentation and taste were impressive. “Tapri Central is a must visit when in Jaipur. The rooftop ambience and heart warming chais is a heavenly combination. *What we ate: Ginger chai, Masala chai, Nathdwara chai, Pesto Maggi, sev puri, Thepla, Pizza and Bun toast. The food was spectacular and we savoured every bite of it. Pesto Maggi can be given a pass, rest everything was delicious *Ambience and service: We visited on a Dec cold evening and the weather was a paid actor :) Chai and the nippy weather made the simple decor of Tapri central all the more pleasing.
