“This is probably the most famous sweet shops in old Jaipur city. We got a recommendation of this place and more so because I wanted to eat Rabdi Ghewar, which is usually prepared only in the monsoon (savan) months. The shop is conveniently located in Bapu Bazar and can be easily found. One should prefer walking here or public transport since the roads are always jampacked here. As we entered the shop, swarming noise of people welcomed us, along with delicious smell of Indian sweets. We decided the food we wanted to order and again had to be in a queue to place the order. After payment and getting the token we went to respective counters to fetch the food and sweets. The preparation was very nice and fresh. The only drawback was we had to wait for a standing table to eat the food, since there was a lot of crowd. I had the Rabdi Ghewar, Chamcham and some other sweets which were truly nice …”

“Sweet section is excellent, but the same cannot be said about their restaurant. The staff is courteous and prompt, however the taste is disappointing. Compared to the price they charge, the quantity is very less, especially the gravy in each serving. We ordered Gatte ki Sabzi expecting authentic traditional Rajasthani cuisine in the heart of old Jaipur market, but it turned out to be a letdown. We received only three small pieces of gatte in kadhi gravy, and the price was around ₹500 per serving, which is absolutely not justified. LMB seriously needs to improve its restaurant quality, otherwise the fame it has earned over the years may soon diminish. If you want it more polite, more aggressive, or shorter, tell me — I’ll adjust it 👍”

“LMB as they fondly called it is one of the iconic sweet and namkeen shop in the city. They have a proper restaurant adjacent to cater different menu apart form the regular sweets. We visited specially for the kachoris and tried dal kachori and pyaaz kachori. The dal kachori was strictly average but the pyaaz kachori lived upto the hype thats been told or circulated. They also have huge variety of snacks and beverages options as well. Overall top rated from side for definitely must try Pyaaz kachori.”

“Visited this old-school sweet and snacks shop recently and really liked the nostalgic vibe it carries. The place has a very traditional feel and gives you a glimpse of how these classic local shops used to be. The snacks and sweets were decent and fresh, and the drinks were good as well. Nothing overly fancy, but simple and satisfying. The overall experience feels more about the charm and authenticity of the place rather than modern ambience. A nice spot to visit if you enjoy old-town vibes, traditional snack shops, and a bit of nostalgia with your evening snacks.”
