“Hands down the best matcha in India, and quite possibly the world. As a barista I have been travelling the world trying matcha in every country I’ve been to with my partner who is a chef - this place surpasses matchas we’ve had in Japan (it’s that good). We ended up having 4 to share in one sitting, and we will absolutely be back tomorrow to indulge some more. Namo is a genius and he really knows his stuff (plus he’s a super nice guy). The flavour combinations and overall experience of each drink is completed to absolute perfection. Our personal favourites were the earl grey and the spirulina matchas - fantastic. They also use oat milk which we really loved and appreciated. If Akari was in our home country, I’d work there. But what happened after that completely changed my perspective about Akari. The owner, Mr Namo personally reached out to me and took the time to call and speak with me.
