Studio Intensive at Jaipur Centre for Art continues its conversations and critiques with artists and practitioners from across the art world. The cohort had one-on-one sessions by artists Shilo Shiv Suleman and Prashant Pandey, and a closing session with Kamna Anand, Senior Curator at RMZ Foundation, on the process of creation through a public lens. Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur also visited the studios and interacted extensively with the participants. The programme will conclude with an Open Studio display of participants’ work at JCA from 26 September to 9 October, where the cohort will present works developed over the month through an exhibition that they have conceived and executed themselves. By creating opportunities within Rajasthan, Studio Intensive makes space for building a practice and a community closer to home.
