Pichwai — Through the Ages: opens at ICA Gallery, Jaipur A rare survey of the devotional Pichwai tradition is now on view at ICA Gallery, where “Pichwai — Through the Ages: Art & Worship” brings together around 70 works, some more than two centuries old, to trace the evolution of a painting style born in temple ritual and refined into high art. Presented by ICA Gallery in collaboration with Darshanam, the exhibition runs from 23 August to 10 September 2026, daily 11 AM–8 PM, and positions Pichwai as both a sacred visual language of the Pushtimarg (Shrinathji). Behind this sustained focus on heritage is the Bansal family, which has nurtured Jaipur’s art scene for three generations.
