On the 150th session since starting Jaipur Reads, we gathered as a lively group at the airy artsy space at Paalthi cafe, which Ram graciously opened early for us. We became a little nostalgic, looking back at how despite hot summers and extreme rains, this group has come together time and again, in numbers small and large to create a calm that asks for nothing more than to exist in the world of literature, whatever your taste might be, to be simply absorbed by active-ity of reading. Reading here feels different, there is a strange sensation floating in the air... as though silent conversations were taking place between each book and its reader. Consequently, the spirit of the authors floats with us. This Sunday morning was no different but it was sweetened by toffees brought by a member.
