It was one of those reading sessions, where we had to stack our books into three separate piles rather than the usual twin towers. It always amazes us that this many people chose to spend their Sunday mornings reading with their fellow bookworms, rather than sleeping in, doomscrolling or worrying about the coming week 💤. The 143rd edition of Jaipur Reads was held at The Alchemist, and readers ended up filling the whole space, each one finding their comfortable corner to settle in and dive into their current reads 📖. The yellow lights, humming of coffee machine and lingering aroma of coffee beans, almost teleported us to a scene from the pre internet era. Incandescent bulbs, wooden aesthetics and human beings being human, by being present in the moment, reading their books and sipping on freshly brewed coffee, free of any stress and worries that comes with our modern lifestyle. Weather one was looking inside their book, or watching other readers staring inside theirs, it was a sigh
