Inaugural Yashraj Samant memorial Arbitration Lecture is being held in memory of Shri Yashraj Samant, who led an accomplished life even though he lived a short life but lived it to the fullest, a protege of Justice BR Gavai, he authored two books on international arbitration law as well as on domestic arbitration law. He was instrumental in setting up the Center for Arbitration Law in his alma mater, the National Law University, Mumbai. He was an avid mooter having represented India at various prestigious International moot court competitions. The suject closest to his heart was arbitration law and to commemorate his memory and carry on his legacy the inaugural Yashraj Samant Memorial Annual Arbitration Lecture is being held.
